Windows 10 (and also NVIDIA GTX1070 v456.71 VBIOS: 86.04.5B.00.8A) recognizes the external display and I can choose e.g. While the USB devices, connected to the docking station, seem to work, the connected monitor (HP EliteDisplay E231) stays black. After plugging the docking station via USB-C (Thunderbolt 3) into the USB-C/Thunderbolt connector on the back of the laptop, the Thunderbolt Software appears and recognizes the docking station (Thunderbolt Controller 2 > Port 1 > Dell, WD19TB Thunderbolt Dock) - see screenshot.
